Policy and Planning Division Profile

The NWRB executes its policy and planning functions through its Policy and Planning Division ("PPD").

The PPD (a) recommends policies on water resources development & utilization for various uses; (b) evaluates and coordinates water resources plans and programs between sectors and departments of the Government; and (c) conducts assessment of water resources supply & demand for systematic allocation & development of available resources for various functional uses. It is consisting of four (4) sections, namely:

• Policy and Formulation Section;
• Program Evaluation and Coordination Section;
• Water Resource Assessment Section; and
• Water Resources Information Section
