Angat Dam situation and its effect in water supply

Angat Dam level is at 159.93 meters as of six o’clock in the morning today. It is down from 160.30 meters same time yesterday. Such level is now again below 160 meters, the elevation critical for water supply. The Low Level Outlet (LLO) is currently operational to maintain the current allocation of 36 cubic meters per second or around 3.1 billion liters per day.

The Angat dam water level as of six o’clock in the morning today is 161.08 meters, a little over three meters higher than the insofar lowest elevation this year. It is steadily recovering due to the run-off brought by the heavy rains received in the Angat area over the weekend.

At the moment, the Angat dam water level is at 161.78 meters as of 6 o’clock in the morning. It continuously declines despite the PAGASA pronouncement of the onset of rainy season. The dam elevation is projected to reach 160 meters in the next three days.
