Amendment on the Extension of Validity of Provisional Authority for Certificate of Public Convenience During the State of Public Health Emergency
NWRB Res. No. 02-0320-B was approved by the Board on its meeting held on January 20, 2021 which provides that all Provisional Authority issued during the State of Public Health Emergency shall be valid until December 31, 2021 unless otherwise revoked or extended by the Board.
 
Amendment on the Extension of Validity of Conditional Water Permit During the State of Public Health Emergency
Res.No.05-0320-A was approved by the Board on its meeting held on October 21, 2020 which provides that all Conditional Water Permits that have expired after June 30, 2020, including those with granted extensions shall be valid until September 30, 2021, unless otherwise revoked or extended by the Board during  State of Public Health Emerg. prevailing in the country.
 
Granting Authority to NWRB to Conduct On-line Hearings During the Period of Public Health Emergency
NWRB Res. No. 11-1220 was approved by the Board on its meeting held on December 17, 2020 that grants authority to NWRB to conduct on-line hearings for the determination of cases and petitions filed before it in the face of COVID 19 pandemic to fit current health and safety measures, subject to the issuance of guidelines.
 
Granting of Authority to Executive Director to Represent NWRB in Filing Criminal Cases
NWRB Res. No. 10-1220 was approved by the Board on its meeting held on December 17, 2020 that grants authority to the Executive Director to represent NWRB in filing a criminal case against monitored violators who consistently defies Orders issued by the NWRB.
 

NOTICE TO OUR STAKEHOLDERS ON ACCEPTANCE OF WATER PERMIT APPLICATIONS AND HEARING OF NWRB CASES IN THE WATER RIGHTS DIVISION


Pursuant to the recommendation of the Inter-Agency Task Force on the Management of the Corona Virus Disease 2019 Resolution No. 11 series of 2020, declaring Code Red Sub-Level 2 on the COVID-19 pandemic, and suspending work in the Executive Department in Metro Manila, Memorandum of the Executive Secretary dated March 13, 2020 on the Stringent Social Distancing Measures and Further Guidelines for the Management of the Corona Virus Disease 2019 Situation,

and CSC Announcement No. 12, Series of 2020, on the Alternative Work Arrangements in Light of Code Red Sublevel 2, the National Water Resources Board has created a skeletal force that shall attend to your transactions, such as the filing of water permit applications, in order not to hamper the delivery of our services.

We, nonetheless value the safety and well-being of our personnel, especially those assigned as skeletal force. In order to minimize person to person interaction and prevent the spread of the disease, we encourage all those who intend to file their applications to maximize the use of the Water Permit Management Information System (WPMIS), and file their applications by accessing tlcpay.ph/NWRB. All supporting documents may be scanned and sent together with the on-line applications. The hardcopy of your applications may be sent via mail or courier. We shall inform you of the acceptance of your application and instructions will be given in regard to payment of filing fee, online. Please do not forget to indicate your e-mail address, where we may effectively communicate with you.

As earlier announced, all hearings in the Water Rights Division scheduled from March 16, 2020 to April 12, 2020 are POSTPONED, since domestic travel is strictly restricted. The NWRB shall issue the necessary Orders for the rescheduling of said hearings.

All other transactions, such as filing of cases/petitions, submission of documentary requirements compliance to conditions, and submission of pleadings may be done by sending the scanned copy of said documents to This email address is being protected from spambots.
